Tabloid paper NZ Truth… Editor-in-chief Dermott Malley said: “Sex will always sell in the media but NZ Truth readers want more – more ….entertainment… investigative stories… [etc.]“. The topless model has … become a poster in the centre of the paper’s liftout magazine [pp. 19-24]. “The huge [colour] poster will bring readers the most alluring and exotic models from around the world,” Malley said.

Dr. Glenn Peoples responds to liberal Ian Harris.
Ian Harris tells us (“Honest to God,” Dominion Post, [Dominion Post. Saturday July 11, 2009. Page B5], reproduced at the YesVote website at http://yesvote.org.nz/2009/07/17/the-bibles-harsh-view-rejected/) that we should reject the “harsh views” on child rearing found in the Bible.
Mr Harris, unfortunately, joins many of those who promote the criminalisation of good parents by muddying the waters. He notes, for example, that someone who defends the right to use physical discipline also believes that children (like adults) are sinners. He then announces that since “progressive” Christians (by which he seems to mean those who no longer accept Christian theology) realise that this is based on an antiquated view, we should likewise reject the right to use physical discipline and we should criminalise those who do.

On 11 June 2007 the company 435 Devon Ltd (Co. No. 1951732) was incorporated. and registered with the Companies Office with David Bruce Crow as sole director. Its registered office was recorded as 418 Bedford Rd North, R.D.6 Inglewood. The Companies Office records based on details filed on-line by David Crow show that his brother Stephen Peter Crow (Steve Crow aka “Porn King” or “Mr Porn”) was appointed a director on 25 February 2008 and then resigned on 12 November 2008. New Plymouth’s RSA is taking steps to protect its assets after companies owned by the men [Stephen Peter Crow and David Bruce Crow] who bailed out the financially troubled organisation have gone broke.
Auckland businessman Steve Crow and his brother David, of Inglewood, bought the Strandon clubrooms for $1.9 million in July 2008, as part of a rescue package to save the organisation which was in danger of going broke. [The property is owned by 435 Devon Ltd (Co. No. 1951732), which is jointly owned by Steve Crow (5,000 shares), David Crow (1,000 shares) and David's wife, Carolyn Rose Crow (4,000 shares). The Company is directed by David Crow. Steve was a director until he resigned on 12 November 2008].
Since then a softening in the porn industry has seen several of Steve Crow’s companies [Z4K74D Ltd formerly Vixen Direct Ltd; Malibu Media Ltd, formerly Erotica Expo Ltd; Eden Media Ltd; Les Obstacles de L'Amour Ltd] go into liquidation and earlier this month David’s building company, Buildwise Ltd, was placed in liquidation.

The brothers intended to put a $20 million development on the site.

It alleges he has committed 28 breaches of the Companies Act 1993 as a director of CVC Group Ltd and sole director of Vixen Publications Ltd in his use on official company documents of the company name “Eden Digital Ltd” (Co No.2122974 – formerly Vixen TV Ltd,) which was incorporated on 23 April 2008 and first registered as “Eden Digital Ltd” following a name change on 26 March 2009. This morning Stephen Peter Crow (Steve Crow) – NZ “Porn King” – had his former wife, Senior Police Sergeant Gaylene Sharon Rogers, resign as co-director of HWGA Co Ltd (Co. No 661946), according to the Companies Office on-line records. This leaves HWGA Co Ltd, which has its registered office at 45 Stanhope Rd, Ellerslie, Auckland, with only one director – Steve Crow. The Society has today filed 16 complaints against Porn Company Director Steve Crow with both the Legal Team of the Companies Office and the National Enforcement Unit, pertaining to 16 breaches of the Companies Act 1993. These alleged offences relate to his use on official documents of the company name “Eden Digital Ltd” over a period of five years, before such an entity was ever registered with the Companies Office.
The name “Eden Digital Ltd” was first registered on 26 March 2009 out of a name change of a former company – Vixen TV Ltd – of which Crow was the sole director. Crow has boasted to media that “Eden Digital Ltd” has arisen like a phoenix from the ashes of two of his other companies that have been placed into liquidation – Vixen Direct Ltd and Erotica Expo Ltd – and that they continue to trade as the newly formed company.

FOUR of Steve Crow’s porn companies of which he was sole director have gone belly up. Critics of his hard-core putrid porn promotion will be crowing loudly, but creditors, including about 30 New Zealand companies, will not be. The shrivelling of his now anaemic porno empire has left him impotent he claims to recompense any of his many unsecured creditors who are owed at least $714,000. In addition his companies owe at least $323,753 to the IRD. The debt will probably increase once the final liquidator’s reports are completed.
Crow says ‘I don’t have any obligation to recompense creditors of the liquidated companies” (Dominion Post 8/07/09). On TV One’s Close Up “Porn Industry Going Bust?” – he tried to downplay the debts, saying that most of the money was owed to creditors outside New Zealand who were still acting benevolently towards him. Surrounded by busty porn stars and with his new girfriend Rachel Whitewell at his side, his message was – its business or bust!
Lloyd J. Hayward of accountants Meltzer Mason Heath is the liquidator appointed for all of his three failed companies.
The first company, Vixen Direct Ltd, an importer and distributor of hard-core porno sleaze, had its name changed by Crow on 1 May 2009 to Z4K74D Ltd (Co. No. 514464), just before the liquidator was appointed on 27 May 2009. Read more
